RRC Celebrates Leadership and Excellence at 2024 Inaugural and Installation

Nov 12, 2024

The Residential Real Estate Council gathered for its 2024 Inaugural and Installation Luncheon on Friday, Nov. 8, at the RRC Conference at NAR NXT, Intercontinental Boston. The event celebrated outstanding achievements within the organization and installed new leadership for 2025, marking a significant milestone as RRC approaches its 50th anniversary. Teresa King Kinney, CEO of the Miami Association of REALTORS®, served as the emcee for the memorable occasion.

Leadership Installation

Vivian Macias, CRS was installed as RRC's 49th President for 2025 by 2013 RRC President Mary McCall. The installation was made particularly special by the involvement of Macias's family, including her parents Juan and Mirta Rodriguez, who immigrated to the United States in 1962 and established a successful real estate brokerage in Miami, Florida that has operated for over 47 years. Macias's children also played significant roles in the ceremony, with her son Juan Carlos Macias leading the Pledge of Allegiance alongside his grandparents, and her daughters Marie and Emilee delivering moving tributes to their mother's leadership and character.

Alongside Macias, Teresa Pitt, CRS was installed as President-Elect and Debra Beagle, CRS as First Vice President, as well as new at-large 2025 Board of Directors’ members, RVPs, and RRC State/Regional presidents (see below for a comprehensive list of names.) In her inaugural address, Macias emphasized RRC's mission to support members through education, leadership development, referrals, networking opportunities and business resources.

"RRC, CRS Designees and its members are the guardians of our profession," Macias stated, pledging to serve with "respect, dignity and commitment." She outlined her vision for 2025, focusing on building a community of confident, resilient and successful real estate professionals.
